About T&O Recovery Service
T&O Recovery Service is a family-run, fully insured 24/7 vehicle recovery and tyre change company based at Tednambury Farm, Spellbrook, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 4BD. We cover east Hertfordshire, west Essex, North London, the M11 and the M25, day and night, every day of the year.
Who we are
T&O Recovery Service started in 2025 as a family business with a simple idea: when you're stuck at the side of the road, you should get a real person on the phone, a straight answer and a truck on its way, whatever the time.
Anyone who's broken down knows the feeling: stuck on hold, passed between call centres, with no idea when help will turn up or what it will cost. We built T&O the other way round. You call us directly. We work out where you are and where your vehicle needs to go, give you a price before we set off, and tell you honestly when we'll be there.
We're based at Tednambury Farm in Spellbrook, on the edge of Bishop's Stortford, between junctions 7 and 8 of the M11. It's a good spot for a recovery business: Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow and Stansted Airport are all close, and the M25 and North London are a straight run down the motorway.

The truck
We run a flatbed recovery truck, so your vehicle travels on the bed rather than being towed on its own wheels. It's loaded by winch, which means cars that won't start can still be moved, and strapped down for the whole journey.
The amber beacons on the roof aren't just for show: when we're working at the roadside, they're what keeps you, us and your vehicle visible to other traffic.
Where we're based
Our base is Tednambury Farm in Spellbrook, between Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth on the Hertfordshire and Essex border. It's close to the A1184 and junctions 7 and 8 of the M11, which puts Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport within easy reach, and the M25 is a short run down the M11.
